We care about the environment
It makes good sense to shop at a Danish webshop. Firstly, you minimize your environmental impact as our warehouse is located in North Jutland, so your goods do not have to be transported across the globe - and secondly, we always send your order in a recycled bag or box.
Furthermore, we print no more than strictly necessary, which is also why we do not include return labels in our order bags.

Who is behind it?
Acorns.dk was founded in late summer 2014 by Annette - a woman from North Jutland (Aalborg native by heart) with a deep-seated passion for clothing and accessories.
Annette is a trained graphic designer and art director with a background in the advertising industry, where she worked at an advertising agency for over 20 years, alongside having one foot in the fashion/clothing industry. Along the way, she became a self-taught stylist, photographer, and blogger with a tendency to believe in everything - even happiness ;)
Why is the webshop called Acorns?
[ Aikårns ], which is English, means acorns. Acorns are nuts - or rather, fruits from the oak tree. Acorns are truly unique. Both as the small natural miracles they are - and as a symbol. They hold fantastic strength, and when you see them there on the beautiful tree - or fallen onto the forest floor - you just want to collect them. And find more... :)
