Online data policy - Acorns.dk
Personal data
Acorns.dk collects personal data about our customers in order to process orders and communicate with customers. Below you can see what information we collect, why we collect it - and how it is used, as well as your rights as a customer.
What personal data is collected
When you shop via our webshop, we collect the personal data you enter: Your name, email address, postal address and phone number. We also register what items you buy, on what date you buy them - and at what price. The information is stored collectively in an individual customer archive. If you are subscribed to our newsletter, the information will be collected in the customer archive.
Acorns.dk stores the following personal data: Name, address, email and phone number of our customers in order to process orders. That is, deliver the ordered goods to the chosen delivery location and notify if there should be problems with an order.
We store information about which goods have been ordered and purchased, at what price and on what date, in order to comply with the customer's right of withdrawal and/or complaint.
If you are subscribed to Acorns.dk's newsletter, your email address will be used to send newsletters. This requires that you have actively subscribed to the newsletter - and you can withdraw this at any time by clicking on the link at the bottom of each newsletter.
Data processing period
Personal data collected via our webshop is stored in the customer archive indefinitely - or until you request its removal. This is done in relation to any complaints about the ordered goods. In such cases, please contact us by email: info@acorns.dk
The General Data Protection Regulation
According to GDPR - the Data Protection Regulation of May 25, 2018, the type of personal data we store about our customers is what is called ordinary personal data. Such personal data can be lawfully used when consent has been given. This consent is given as it is only possible to order and pay by actively giving consent to our Online data policy. In this way, we have a legal basis for processing customers' personal data.
Archiving, handling and storage of data
All personal data is stored in our online shop system, Shopify, which ensures that all personal data is processed according to European data protection legislation.
Only employees at Acorns.dk who use personal data for order processing have access to customers' personal data.
Personal data is only shared with third parties when necessary to process a customer's order and provide customer service - as well as for the webshop's function in relation to, for example, shipping.
Data is therefore shared with the following subcontractors:
