MUNTHE aims for a sustainable and socially responsible business that creates value for everyone. For MUNTHE, Social Responsibility means acting properly and trying to make a difference in areas where positive impact is possible.

MUNTHE emphasizes responsible supplier management, where suppliers' ethical principles must match MUNTHE's – and ensure that the products designed are produced by suppliers who comply with international principles – such as internationally recognized norms and guidelines for human rights, labor rights, and the environment.

For MUNTHE, sustainability also means designing clothes that can be used season after season because they are timeless and of high quality. A core collection of styles that go with most things, are comfortable, and compromise neither quality nor fit.

The Simple Studio is created based on MUNTHE's core values, and 95% of all styles are designed in sustainable materials: Organic cotton – grown without the use of pesticides and therefore a more environmentally friendly alternative to conventional cotton. Sustainable viscose, whose fibers come from sustainable forests – and where this type of fiber uses 50% less water and energy, comparable to traditional viscose – as well as recycled polyester, which comes from recycled polyester or PET bottles.

Furthermore, all packaging for styles from The Simple Studio is made from recycled plastic, and all hangtags are made from cardboard from sustainable forests, and labels are OEKO-TEX certified.
