KARMAMIA is committed to sustainability and has its own production in Dubai with a daily personal "hands-on" approach. This maintains continuous production based on demand, resulting in significantly less overproduction.
Most of the fabrics are made from high-quality artificial satin material, which requires much less water than, for example, cotton fibers. The carbon footprint of satin material is approx. 5 kg CO2 per 1 kg of fabric, whereas cotton, silk, or viscose have a footprint of approx. 40 kg CO2 per 1 kg of fabric.
